Walker’s Lanikai Beach House – AMAZING Beachfront Rental

The Walker House was perfect for our group of 11 although all beds regardless of size are advertised double occupancy. Not ideal for adult kids that don't want to share a double bed.
The house is beautiful, well appointed, updated and great location.

This was a vacation of a lifetime for our family. The property was perfect for us. The views were beyond amazing. When you were in the expansive great room you felt as if you were on the beach. The cottage and boat house were perfect for the families with little ones. They had their own space for down time and napping. The garage had everything you would need for the beach; beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach wagon, coolers and snorkeling gear. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware and pantry items. We did a lot of cooking with our large family. Two washers and two dryers was a definite plus. We really could not have enjoyed our stay at this property more.

Beautiful views and great location near the beach however house is in need of tender loving care. Rotten wood and holes on floors. Termite droppings. House was not as clean as your would expect especially with the price paid for this rental.

When you walk in the family room, the view takes your breath away. Every day it surprises you again. The beach and water are the best we have seen anywhere.

Amazing property with great attention to detail.

The house location cannot be beat! We saw sea turtles swimming by & on early mornings it felt like we had our own private beach. The house was well appointed & waking up every morning to the breathtaking view of the sun coming up over the ocean was the best. You know when college aged kids are up by 6am watching a sunrise it must be spectacular.
There was enough room for our family of 11 that ranged from 80yrs old to 5 yrs old. There was enough parking for 4 vehicles which worked out perfectly for us.
We enjoyed getting to enjoy the slower side of the island & really feel like a local. The house is close enough to local coffee shops, shopping, etc. that you don’t have to go far for anything.
Everyone is ready to go back & there is no where else they want to stay!

Our family of 14 had an absolutely amazing time in Hawaii in December-January. The house was absolutely perfect for our large family. Clean, lovely, well stocked! The management was super helpful and answered all of our questions!!!

Absolute best vacation location ever. In all my travels around the world, this home was the best ever. The historic home did not disappoint. It's rare that photos of a home match up to the reality. In this case, the reality outdid the photos. How can you complain about a beach front historic home that you can call your own, if only for a few days? Impeccably maintained with 100 year old charm. Beautiful. We will return as often as possible! WE have already recommended this location as a must-see destination for our friends. Huge windows looking out over the crystal blue sea, cozy living space, updated kitchen appliances, comfortable and enticing areas to sit and just soak it all in. Magnificent!

The home is in a very quiet area. There was a bit of traffic on the street as it is a one way street. Was very hard to get to the beach from the homes stairs as there were only large stones down there. The public walkway was just one house away which was not bad. We did need to drive a ways to get to anything. The home is old but very nice. We also got to use the boathouse and the cottage which were cute. All places had a kitchen which were well equipped. There is a hiking trail close to the house. They had a lot of toys and equipment for the beach which is nice if you stay there at the beach. Loved the view could see diamond head, the waves hitting the wall and the sun.

We were a family of 11, ranging in age from 2years and up & the property was even better than we hoped for. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful home,
the views and the amazing beach. The property was immaculate, the manager, Steven, was extremely responsive and helpful. We hope to come back very soon!

Our family has been taking yearly vacations in wonderful hotels in Hawaii for years, so moving to our first home rental was a big deal. From the moment we walked in and saw the window to ceiling ocean views, we knew had hit the jackpot. An incredible home...nothing was missing. Steven who manages the home was accessible before and during our stay for any questions we had. The home was immaculate and stunning...we did not want to leave...worth every penny!!!

Check in was easy, host was very easy to communicate with. House was in good condition and well appointed with all necessary amenities. The views were amazing and we enjoyed spending time outside as much as possible.

I’ve got to start by saying...yes, I returned from paradise (my home of Oahu) and jumped right back into corporate America...so the reason for the delayed response.
We visited back home in January 2022 to Walkers Estate. Sadly, this visit was to bring my mom home to lay to rest in Kaneohe Bay. We had been back home to Walker’s Estate in January 2019. This home is amazing!!!! Yes, it is “Home” not a house. Elegant but Simple at the same time. Embodies Aloha throughout. The photos, as beautiful as they are, do not offer the sounds of the Ocean that are literally in your backyard. You are at the remote end if one of the most beautiful beaches in the World and you can take it all in from the full wall of windows in the living room. The separate spaces work so well for our family. The Carriage house with a queen bedroom and a full punee. Along with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Then The Boat House, queen bedroom, loft with full bed, full kitchen and bathroom and living area. And now the Main house...master bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom, a second oceanfront queen bedroom and a third queen bedroom with a shared main bath. The kitchen is amazing...we are a family of Chefs and this kitchen does not disappoint. The main part of the home is where we would father regularly to start our day...truly the heart of the home. Stephen, our property manager, was out of town in this trip but made sure to set up up and check on us to ensure we were being taking care of. Barbea our booking agent is so kind and efficient throughout the booking process. We will be returning in January 2024 and many years to come. If you are looking for an amazing home to stay in while visiting and want a true Local experience ...this is your place!!! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderfully situated house for multiple families to share. Pictures understate the beauty of the view and the expanse of the property. Snorkeling with the sea turtle who lives in water off back of the house was a bonus.

Beautiful location with breathtaking views and lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Unfortunately there were some cleaning issues which should never occur with the prices paid for this rental. Had to have housecleaners come to take care of poop on one of the beds on the first day. We were told that it from gecko's but later found it was from cockroaches. The white towels were stained and issues with termites. Overall we were happy with the rental but again thought prices were quite high for the issues we encountered.

Walker’s Beach house was the highlight of our vacation in Oahu. The ocean view out the main room in the Main house is breathtaking - photos just can’t capture the feel, magical! The bedrooms and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. The property is immaculate and well maintained. And a special nod to Steven, who did a fabulous job ensuring we lacked nothing! A place for special memories!!

It was love at first sight, this rental was everything our group of 14 was looking for. Direct access to Lanikai beach, mellow waves, tons of sea turtles and enough space for us all to relax and hang-out. Located, walking distance from the pillbox hike and several local restaurants we couldn't ask for more.

On the few occasions we decided to venture out, it was an easy drive to Oahu (30 mins) or even the North shore (1 hour).

Overall the property was very clean and had many beach toys, chairs, etc. We even rented a kayak from down the street for 3 days that sat on the dock for easy access into the ocean. The kitchen was spacious enough to prepare big meals and had all appliances/tools needed. Room AC worked amazing and kept us cool and comfortable at night.

Would love to come back to Walker House!

Seriously, walking into the great room, and seeing that sea of turquoise was breath taking. Every. Single. Time.
We were 11 people, 6 adults, 5 children. We all had our own ‘space’ to retreat to, but we rarely did. That room called us all...to read, work on a puzzle, play a game...and, hunt for sea turtles right beyond the windows.
There were many ‘beach toys’...boogie boards, inner tubes, beach chairs and beach towels.
The kids played soccer on the grassy area in front and enjoyed hunting for treasures on the rocks when the tide was out. There were so many places to be in and around the house.
The kitchen. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, but there was always coffee at the ready and someone sitting at the bar. It was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Not to mention the welcome basket on the counter filled with local treats that we enjoyed all week. Thank you!
It was a dream, one that we hope to recreate one day soon.

Stayed a week at Walker's Lanikai beach with my family. It was wonderful. You feel like you are on the beach from inside the house and outside area is great. Beautiful setting and plenty of room for multi-generation family trip.

Absolutely loved the house and it was a perfect place to celebrate our combined family.

We could not have asked for a better house to have our holiday family reunion. The location, view and accommodations are superior to any rental we’ve experienced on any other vacation. The house is clean, so well-appointed and beautifully decorated. We lacked for nothing from beach chairs and towels, to cooking implements to jigsaw puzzles. The house instructions were so clear and helpful. I cannot think of anything we lacked. We would return without question.

Walker beach house was probably one of the few house that still have access to the famous soft sandy beach at Lanikai. We enjoyed the houses easy access to the beach, however, the house was broken in on the 2nd to the last night of our staying, more than $10,000 worth of jewelry and belongings were stolen. There were signs in the house to remind us to lock away our valuables, but my designer bags didn’t fit the small safe in the closet. We filed the police report, and they asked if there is any security cameras installed since the last burglary just a few months ago. We were also told by the police that there were few other homes were burglarized that week. I suggested to the property manager, he said he will bring it up to the owner. We understand this can happen to any where and anyone. We have been coming to Hawaii every summer for the past 20years and this was the first time it happened. I just want to bring this to the owner’s attention to install a security camera .

Steven and Barbea guided us through the reservation process with ease. Our group of 13 fit comfortably on this property. Every amenity and more is available. This property view is unbeatable and one of the few available licensed short-term rentals. One of the most beautiful vacations home with all the amenities, direct access to the beach and a short bike ride to Kailua. You won't be disappointed.

This property is the Best!! From the main house to the cottage and the boathouse, it was truly amazing! The Beach house is right next to the beach. The Beach house had everything we needed for my whole family to come together and heal. Communication and praises to Steven Jones (Estate Manager), Loy Todd ( Director of Admin), Victoria Fukushima and Patty DeDominicis made everything possible for our stay to be as smooth as possible. We loved everything about this house and location! Sea turtles in the backyard was a highlight! The house has such character and a view that can’t be beat.

Amazingly beautiful view! Even on a rainy, windy day we felt we were at the beach and enjoyed watching kite boarders "fly" by. This was our second visit with our children and grandchildren and the 11 of us fit easily around the table and in the house/boathouse/cottage. The kitchen is fully stocked. Upgraded historic house. Steven answered any questions quickly and baked bread pudding for our arrival. Traveling to Hawaii is easier because so much is provided - beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, towels, umbrellas, games, shampoo etc. Outdoor warm showers with lower and upper heads were great for the children and adults. Grassy yard wonderful for children's soccer games. Lounge chairs by water great for sunrise and relaxing. Easy walk to the beach where our grandson was baptized by a local pastor who also baptized another grandson on our first visit. The whole place is just fantastic and we hope to return to make even more memories for us and the children!

This house is a 12 out of 10. Perfect location and a perfect historic house. Everything about our stay was perfect. Walking up to that view every morning, with a coffee...wow!!!! The perfect beach just steps away. The house is fully stocked with all the beach toys and towels.

We were 4 adults and 2 kids and the main house was perfect for us. The cottage would be a great place for two adults and child or even a nanny with the rest of the family in the main house.

Property manager was available for whatever we needed, and that bread pudding he left for us...OMG!!!!

We will definitely be back.

The Walker filled our needs perfectly. Plenty of room for our family of 9 and the location is perfect.
The house is a beautiful old craftsman with lots of character. It is meticulously maintained with little touches, like Astro turf where you want it most, and fully stocked.

Gorgeous spacious vacation home!!! Actually it is a compound, with a three bedroom, two bath main house and a boat house and an additional cottage!! Perfectly suited for a large family vacation! The main house has a stunning view of the ocean!! It's like you are in the ocean!!! The outdoor patio has a 360 degree view of the ocean and beach! The beach is so calm! Probably one of the best beaches in Oahu! Perfectly suited for little kids and also snorkeling!! We had the time of our life at the Walker house!!! Highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Walker house for 7 days in January, 9 members of an extended family. Pre-arrival, all our questions were answered and plenty of information was passed along to us to get us ready. Steven and Mitchell were very accommodating, working with us arriving a little early. The house was immaculate on arrival, we were very pleased with the furniture, all the ambiance, the linens and all the little extras. There was plenty of room with the great yard, main house and boat house for everyone to spread out. A small problem he had with a shower was taken care of quickly and with no inconvenience to us. Nothing beats the view from this wonderful house, it is a destination unto itself. We will have memories for a lifetime from staying at this wonderful property.

Our family of 9 spent a wonderful week during May, 2018 at the Walker Lanikai Beach House for our 50th wedding anniversary. Stephen was there when we arrived to show us around and with a gift of his delicious dessert. The large open living room facing the ocean was a marvelous setting. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner meals as a family around the large dining table. The beach was just minutes away for wonderful swimming (especially for the grandchildren). Daily hike from the house up to the pillbox was also a highlight. Highly recommended - would love to return.

We visited Oahu as a family for the first time in 10 years, recalling memories of our parents and making new memories with the next generation! The Multiple living spaces both inside and our were delightful, and the yard a bonus for energetic grandchildren. We loved the views and ocean breezes, and the kitchen was great for family cooking. The lack of a fence on the ocean side made us a bit nervous for the two year old, bur we had no close calls.

We were looking for best spot on Hawaii's best beach for 2 weeks of paradise with our extended family of 10 [ us plus our 2 kids and their 2 kids each]......Walker's in July was the answer ! Our total experience was better than we could have ever imagined.
The house complex fit us perfectly. The Cottage and Boathouse were ideal for my son's family...boys 13 and 15. My daughter's family stayed comfortably w us on the other side of the big house...girls 5 and 7.
View from the living room is spectacular and beach access excellent. Laying out on the lawn chairs after dinner, view of the ocean and stars is priceless.
Great restaurants, golf, every conceivable beach activity, ATV riding, sailing, ziplining are all right around the corner.
The houses have all the amenities and precious parking space....everything is up to date and nicely maintained. The setting is quite private.
is pricey !!! ...but the value is there ....and "you can not take it with you" !
Advice : Contract directly with PHH....we made the mistake of going thru VRBO ...a needless extra expense.
The fond memories of those 2 weeks will be with us forever. It is the best !

The Walker house was wonderful. Beautifully decorated and cared for. I had the front bedrm and loved the sound of the waves at night. Everything we needed was there. A perfect spot to celebrate my 90th birthday with family. Wonderful memories. May be back for my 100th!

Excellent well maintained historic home that fulfilled all expectations and then some. The star of the show, the ocean, is beautiful and literally inches from you. The home was absolutely perfect!

If I had one negative I would say that the best way to enter the ocean is through the public access which is 1 home away from the property. There are too many rocks to navigate safely from the yard. Improvement here would be awesome!

Our stay at Walker's Beach House was wonderful in every respect. Arriving late after a long journey with two exhausted toddlers, we were thrilled with the property and the yummy bread pudding awaiting us. Three generations could gather under one roof - and the various outdoor areas -- and yet have enough space for privacy and downtime. The thoughtful details, including top of the line toiletries and a Vitamix for our morning smoothies, were lovely surprises. Being adjacent to but not right on the sandy part of the beach meant there was no public access to the front of the house - quiet and private at all times. Just a short walk to the scenic Pillbox hike, and a short drive to shops and restaurants. With a generously stocked "beach room," there was no need to rent beach toys/boogie boards/coolers/chairs etc. Thank you!

We were a large group of 15 people and we just finished the most wonderful 7 night stay at this spectacular home. The home is separated into 3 living quarters which was perfect for our group comprised of 3 families with young children.

Every amenity you could think of is provided and it literally felt like home the moment that we arrived. We ate dinner every night with an ocean view and the kids napped on the lounge chairs during the day with the sound of the waves lulling them to sleep.

Booking the property was so easy through Vickie - she's so responsive to all our questions and concerns. The managers Steven and Mitchell were always available to our every need - Steven even baked up the most incredible bread pudding upon our arrival!

John Walker house was a beautiful home casually but tastefully decorated.The position directly on Lanikai beach was superb.
My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary there with our family of ten.
We all had an amazing time.

There were a number of 'wow' moments entering the property; the perfectly groomed lawn framed by the boathouse and the main house, the magnificent panoramic view of the ocean from the main lounge room, the layout of the boathouse... The home is pristine with modern appliances, spacious rooms and is at the same time elegant and cosy. With the beach at the doorstep, ample space, and nearby shops a walk away this is the perfect accomodation.

I've been staying the house for 5 nights with 7 people including 2 kids. The place is facing the beach and can go into the ocean within 1 seconds from the house. Lanikai beach is truly a paradise. The house is surrounded by quiet neighbor, so we could listen to the sound of the wave all day long. I definitely will choose this place next time we visit Oahu.

We grew up In Kailua. This trip was a trip to bring my 91 year old mother home and get family and friends together. We typically stay on Kalama beach, as this is where we lived. However I wanted something with more of an Ocean view for my mother. Walker Estate was more than perfect! The main house is set up with three bedrooms and a more than beautifully living area. Then the Boathouse and Cottage were perfect. We had 9 people in our group and never once did we feel that there was not enough room or lack for anything. We are a family of Chefs and the kitchen was set up beautifully!!!
Steven and Mitchell could not have been more welcoming! The bread pudding as a welcome gift was out of this world...and did I say that we were a family of chefs?
I would recommend this gem to anyone looking for the perfect Hawai’i get away. We will be back!!!!!!!

Our team was looking for a team building getaway with our spouses too. We came across the Walker Lanikai Beach House and fell in love with the photos! We figured if the place was anything like the photos that we would have a great week away. The place did not disappoint! Getting to wake up to the Lanikai sunrise every morning was magical. Having the ability to walk outside the backyard and down onto the beach was incredible too! Our whole team was beaming from this week away. We hope to make this an annual trip moving forward. The Walker Team was also extremely accommodative, great hosts!

This house was absolutely fantastic. We can not say enough great things about it. Booking was easy even though we had to postpone the original trip for one year because of the pandemic. Contactless check in was very well done. When we arrived, the house was spotless, well appointed with everything a family might need, including all kitchen needs, towels, beach toys, books to read, everything, really! The house manager was readily available when ever we needed to contact him. There was nothing I can say the was overlooked. A beautiful welcome basket was a lovely touch. We had a glorious time there at Walker's Beach House. I wish I could give more stars on the review.

The Walker house is the BEST! We woke up every morning to watch the incredible sunrise. It's a place to just sit, read a book and take in the beauty outside the windows or take a walk on the beach.Thank you for being eco friendly by providing glass food containers. With ample dishes, we could fully load the dishwasher without running out of plates to use. My grandchildren enjoyed all the water related toys you provided. I would love to stay there again some time soon.

Our family had an amazing time. The location, with the beach in front and hiking behind, can't be beat. We also loved access to good food and coffee in town. Highly recommend.

This is our 2nd stay at the Walker House and it was even more magical this time! We traveled with 6 adults and 9 kids that LOVED every second of it. Kids were able to snorkel everyday and see tons of beautiful sea coral or colorful fishes and the best part was getting to swim with sea turtles every day!!!! Adults were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view that accompanied our meals everyday!!! The only bad part I can say about our visit was that after 10 days it had to come to an end�������� Other then that we had such an epic time!!!! Staff was also very responsive to our questions! Looking forward to returning to our magical place hopefully very soon!!!!

Absolutely a wonderful experience, location. The historic home. Was a true gem, the best support and amenities, the best location on the island with the old world historic charm. We will truly return.

We had a party of 14 including wife and I, our 3 adult children, and their kids (2-10). We booked it 5 months ahead, and then unfortunately my wife and I unexpectedly failed the Covid test. so I am relaying the kid's experience.
The house was amazing. They couldn't get over the views and the location. Off the charts. They saw turtles swimming in the "backyard" in the first 5 minutes. The guys took the paddle boards out to the islands. So many things to do, so many outdoor activities near by. Hikes, snorkeling, sightseeing, etc.
The fact the house was spread out with different living quarters for different families was helpful, especially at bed time. The house had every beach need with toys, chairs, boards, etc.
The pictures and videos they took were absolutely beautiful. They built so many memories that will be with them forever - and it started with one amazing house in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this home. It provided us with terrific common areas to enjoy together with all the privacy we needed to sleep well. Steven was a gracious host and provided us with all that we could need. It was a fantastic visit.

Very Nice!

Let me tell you, when i first booked this place, my friends and family were not thrilled. They think the pictures are photoshopped and told me it could have been a scam like a lot of rental places do. Some of them even said " no way this pic is real, the water can't be that nice". I went ahead and booked it anyways because of the professional experience i had with the booking company. Once our group arrived, people were just stunt with the view, is that nice! I almost did not want to review this place so i can keep it all to myself =) We had an absolute amazing time here without having to drive around the island. Some of us went snorling at the Shark Cove and wished they should have just stayed at the house instead. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we need. The knife set is just soooo sharp, its very important for people like me coz we like to cook. Again, thank you and we will hope to see you again next year <3

The John Walker House on Lanikai Beach was the only place we've stayed in many, many years of travel that was perfect - in every way. We were a family of 8 - a reunion of sorts...we were in love with the house and everything about it in the first 20 minutes there. We had many excursions & outings planned - but, in fact, we didn't do many of them and actually never wanted to leave our beautiful home for the 8 days we were there.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Everyone was in awe of the house and views. It was nice having separate families in their own units and then congregating in main house when free. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Markets are close by and convenient. Beach was right below and walkable when tide wasn't high - which were only a few times during our trip. Garage stocked with beach gear and toys. Honestly you don't really need to leave or go anywhere else. Wish we could stay longer.

Stayed at this property for a week. It was simply wonderful. Upon walking into the great room, I was gobsmacked by the view. We couldn’t have been happier. The layout of the property gave everyone space, to read, gather, or retreat. We rented ocean gear for the week to make use of the incredible ocean side location, and the ocean ramp. Steven, the manager, provided a lovely welcome basket of yummy local snacks that were much appreciated. As well as good recommendations on vendors and restaurants. If we had a question, he was quick to respond to our texts. For us the location, meant that we didn’t drive much at all, maximizing our time doing exactly what we wanted, rather than stuck in traffic. We snorkeled daily, paddled to the Mokes and Bird Island, I walked to beach yoga before dawn, walked to groceries and restaurants and good shops (2 easy miles). After a couple of bluebottle siphonophores got my son and I while we were out on the SUPs, the kids took a break from the water and enjoyed playing on the lawn and running around the dry sand, accessible directly from the property. Being windward was no problem, because retreating inside was so comfortable and the view suffered not at all; after a day in the sun and waves, I would read my books facing the large windows, looking up to check on the surfers off Bird Island, and every once in a while pinch myself.

Wonderful house for our family. The great room overlooking the water is fantastic. Many seating areas and great tables for dining inside or out. Art work and furnishings are very nice. The separate sleeping areas worked great for our children and grandchildren. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and there were lots of beach toys, chairs and towels. Even children's books to read at night. We were disappointed at first that the beach was not right in front of the house but the access is one house away so very convenient plus we didn't have people in front of the house all the time. Steve was great whenever we had a question. Fantastic family vacation spot!

We have been visiting the John Walker house for over 30 years and it is always magical. This time we were gifted with amazing white chocolate bread pudding. We love this place and all of the new improvements. Thank you John Walker!

Having lived in Lanikai for several years as a young girl, this was one of our family's favorite places to stay when we returned to visit. The upgrades they have done are beautiful - updated yet still maintaining the charm and simplicity of the beautiful historic home.

Amazing house in fantastic location. We'd love to return.

All I can say is when can we come back? Everything is like the pictures but better!! You have the sound the real feeling once your there! Woke up and swam with turtles almost every morning and the water color is just as magical! Can not wait to go back!

A lovely home away from home. Steven gave us a very warm welcome and explained where to find everything. A small problem was fixed immediately and without any imposition on our vacation despite it being Sunday. Many thanks Steven - we will be recommending and hopefully returning!

Words can't describe how great this property was. Extremely pleased with the layout of the property, quality and location. Steven the estate manager was excellent and a huge help the entire week we were there. Steven, as a service, purchased our entire grocery list - and had the house totally stocked before we arrived. LOVED this. We also rented paddle boards and kayaks for the week and had them delivered before we arrived - and then picked up after we left. Having the boards/kayaks was great for our teens. The house has a boat launch along the side of the property - which made it very easy to get the boards/boats in/out of the water and was also a good place to store them. This is a beautiful area - and the layout of this property with the boathouse and cottage made it wonderful for our group. If I could - I'd give this place - and the management - 10 stars. I'd rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Walkers Lanikai Beach House was the perfect beach house for a family vacation. Accommodated 9 adults plus 2 children very comfortably. Easy access to the beach, parking for 4 cars, interior very attractive and comfortable along with gorgeous views, sunsets & early morning sunrise. 10 minute drive into Kailau township with some great little restaurants and supermarkets. All in all a wonderful holiday with access to lots of interesting places & golf courses not too far away. Would definately return.

Our family of 13 absolutely loved our time at this home. It is the perfect location for anyone wanting to spend time on beautiful Lanikai Beach. We had access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and so much more for our beach time fun. The layout of all the sleeping quarters worked extremely well for our 5 families. Steven had our kitchen stocked upon arrival so all we had to do was starting enjoying our vacation. We will stay here again in the future.

Absolutely perfect! This was our second visit to Walkers Lanikai Beach House and we were kind of wondering if it could possible be a good as it was in our minds eye... oh yea! It may have even been better the second time around. Thank you Steven for all your kindness and for keeping the home in impeccable order!

My college girlfriends and I stayed at the Historic Walker House in mid November for five nights and were thrilled with the home. Many times properties on-line do not look the same in person and we can attest that the pictures do this property justice. It was immaculately clean and there were plenty of rooms between the main home, the boathouse and the cottage to accommodate a large party. The three homes provided both collective meeting/hanging space and one's own private space when wanted. The location is incredible, directly on the water with beach access. The property's amenities and furniture/artwork is beautifully appointed and between the fully stocked cook's kitchen, the stocked beach gear/towels and extra bedding, there was nothing left wanted. The wi-fi and high-end electronics provided the convenience in connection and entertainment we have in our own homes and were so appreciated when settling in for movies each night or checking in with our work/offices via our computers.Steven, the property manager was wonderful and met us at the house for a thorough orientation. We would highly recommend this property and only wish we had the time to have spent a few more days there, as it is truly paradise!

The Walker house was the perfect place for our family vacation (three different families). The house still has that old Hawaiian charm, but yet is completely updated. The property sits in the beginning of Lanikai, which was really nice and easy to get to the house. The house sits one house down from the beach access, so our family was able to walk down to the beach and take a walk on the beach or go snorkeling if they wanted to.

The house is completely stocked with everything you could have ever imagined...shampoo, conditioner, lotion, paper products, an abundance of beach towels, boogie boards, kid toys, chairs, coolers, etc.

Steven, the property manager was kind enough to make us bread pudding (which everyone absolutely loved!) and he was always available if I needed to get in touch with him.

The pictures on the website just don't do the house justice. The home is pristine and was absolutely stunning inside and out and everyone that came over to visit us commented on what a fabulous house it was. Being at the Walker house made us all wind down and take time to enjoy life a little more.

Now every time I come home and drive by the Walker house I think back to the best week we had in Lanikai!

What an amazing property! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lanikai at the Walker House, and plan on returning every year. The house is impeccable in detail, cleanliness and comfort. We were hesitant about renting a house without a pool, but our enjoyment more than made up for the lack of pool. There was so much to do (or not do) that we just didn't have time to fit it all in!

I am amazed at the wonderful restoration of this lovely, historic property. The character was carefully maintained while incorporating modern conveniences. The kitchen was organized to perfection and a joy to use. Steve, thank you so much for the absolutely wonderful Apple Bread Pudding! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite!

The Lanikai Walker House is quite possibly the most beautiful, comfortable, enchanting home I have ever stepped foot in. Beyond the spectacular beauty of the unobstructed view of Lanikai, Steven and Lisa and Kim, the house management team, have thought of everything to make this home comfortable and enjoyable. Beautiful art, comfortable seating, well stocked kitchen (with a Vitamix for making smoothies), my family and friends were very impressed. I kept expecting George Clooney to walk in and offer me a drink...he belongs there!

We hope to come back in a few years when we retire, spend our first week of retirement in gracious comfort. Sounds like a lovely way to begin a new chapter in our lives.

The Walker Lanikai Beach House was unbelievable - our two families had a great time and loved every aspect of the house. The pictures don't even do the place justice and you will not want to leave the living room and backyard area because of the amazing views. We had four adults and five children and there was plenty of room. The place is divided between the main house, boat house, and a guest house and every room is great. There is a lot of detail throughout the house and it is well equipped with everything you will need (dishes, space, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc.). Lastly, Lanikai Beach is just a few feet from the property and it is fantastic as well. We spent multiple days going from the house to the beach and back.

We don't really have the words to describe how wonderful this vacation experience truly is, but we will try and provide some of the faces, places and spaces that helped make it so great.
The Names aka "the faces":
Whitney was our Booking Agent, Steven was our Estate manager, Jeremy is the Primary (aka the Boss and a darn good one), and Lisa Schultz is the reason we stayed here. Seriously, if you have the opportunity to work with Lisa, do whatever it takes to do it. She is an angel on earth who is nice enough to grace our plane with her warmth and aloha spirit.

Yes the house was clean, well-stocked, and more beautiful than depicted in any picture of video we found prior to arriving (or since for that matter - Pictures do not do the property justice)

We would absolutely recommend this place to others. In fact we already have, and have already started planning our return trip.

The activities we enjoyed:
Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, kite-surfing, luau, farmers market, swap meet, ATV tours, swimming with Sharks, and dinning out

Places:
Some of the places we enjoyed thanks to the location and easy of parking at Walker house were- Lanikai beach, Pill box hike, Ola mana hike, Whole Foods, Kailua farmer’s market, Boots and Kimo's, crepes No ka 'oi, bread and breakfast, Buzz's, and Haleiwa Joe's to name few places right in town. Plus with the easy of parking, we were able to rent cars and have access to the entire island.

Spaces:
The Walker house offers so much more then what a simple floor plans might depict. The Boat house loft area is a great space to relax, and melt away. After a long day at the beach or hike, it's a peaceful place where family members can clean off, relax and float away with the Hawaiian winds.

The Lanikai Walker House was such a great experience. We enjoyed a wonderful stay; the house was very clean with extremely well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, and huge dining/living area. Absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean! There was ample parking and not far from restaurants and shopping. Steven with Private Homes Hawaii helped with information and advice before and during our stay. I would stay there again!

We had a nice visit. Only suggestion I have would be to wash the linens in an unscented, allergy free soap (like ALL Clear and Free). The strong smell of the soap and laundry softener was very unpleasant to someone with sensitivities.

We had our yearly business meetings at this house. Plenty of room and privacy with the two cottages, close to Kailua for food and shopping.Lots of space for casual conversation as well as formal meetings with six folks. Overall a good choice, swimming during breaks and the view is incredible. Very nice place to unwind and plan for the new year. Well equipped kitchen, prepared a meal for 12 people with ease. Had a bit of a duh moment but Steven was able to provide an answer even though it was a late call. Good service, highly recommend this property.

The Beach house in Lanikai was a special conclusion to a family vacation on Hawaii. The house, yard, amenities, and immediate access to the beach was so special that each night we sat outside on the exterior patio and watched the sunset and the turtles that added to the experience for the Grand-kids. The property was immaculate and all the needs from beach chairs, beach tents to kids toys and games were provided. Hopefully, we can make arrangements to stay for a month next time.

We rented this incredible house for my MIL's 70th birthday and it could not have been more perfect. The view from the house blew our minds, the beach was perfect for small children, and the convenience of being in Kailua was paramount in that we felt like we were a million miles away, but could easily make a target or whole foods run. Kim and Steven were wonderful to work with and we could not have been happier with the rental. We cannot wait to return!

This was our second visit to the Walker's Lanikai Beach House. The house has been partially renovated since our last visit. We honestly never expected that such a wonderful home and location could get better than our first visit, but it did!!

The home itself is sitting on a relatively remote beach location that is not visited by that many tourists. Waking up to our own "private beach" to watch the sunrise between the two mini islands was one of my favorite parts of our trip.

We also enjoyed a full Thanksgiving dinner. The only thing that was not included in the well stocked kitchen was a meat thermometer. That was pretty incredible.

Overall if you have a large crowd/family this home provides several separate structures so that there is privacy along with the perfect home for everyone to gather.

Looking forward to returning for another family getaway.

Perfect location. During the lead up there was confusion over which agent I had to deal with, and confusion over my stated purpose in renting the house (to celebrate a birthday. The house definitely does not sleep 14.

This location is going to be hard to beat. From the best location on the beach, to A+ service with the Aloha spirit, we can not say enough about the Walker House. All of our 6+ guests had enough room to spread out, and we can not wait to return. Thank you again for such an amazing experience.

That is how we would describe our experience at the Walker home. A celebration of 50th birthdays for childhood friends brought us to Hawaii. The Walker Home gave its own personal memories by just plain being fantastic. The house couldn't have been more magnificent. A house that has been allowed to show you a slice of Hawaii living by one of its long residents. Each room felt very "considered" and allowed to show its very own relevance. The group especially loved the art and furnishings that felt truly "chosen" to show off this beautiful home. One wife declaring she will never "stay in a cheap condo again". She says that the experience has ruined her future visits to Hawaii as it will be an experience hard to repeat.

We had an epic stay...

This home is what dreams are made of. Seriously. We questioned whether it was possible for this house to live up to the images we saw online and when we arrived and walked into the main house, we took a collective breath in, in awe of the view before us. It is truly stunning. But then again, the entire property is stunning. This house has everything you could possible need or want plus more. We often showered in 1 of the 8 outdoor showers on the property and slept every night with the ocean breezes sweeping through the house - the windows stayed open at all times! We stayed for 10 days and never felt the need to leave. We didn't want to! You can snorkel in your backyard, just walk down the staircase and you're at the beach! You can boogie board. You can kayak. You can relax! Whatever your hearts desire, you can do it at the Walker House! It was a truly magical time and I cannot wait to go back again.

We had a great time and experience. We did visit the Arizona Memorial, Hanauma Bay, and Polynesian Cultural Center as first time Oahu visitors, as well as watch the sunrise and sunset, swimming, and snorkeling off the connecting beach. The house and location right on the beach were perfect for us. Working with Steve Jones was very good as well.

Fabulous house in a perfect position. Everything you could require is provided. The house is spotless and well maintained and the management and staff are friendly and very helpful.

From the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff we had a week of a lifetime. The house has amazing charm and is the perfect setting for friends and family to enjoy the water, beaches and relaxing Lanikai neighborhood. The trade winds and waves provide the perfect opportunity to have a mindful and recharging experience like no other. It's healing. It's local. It's amazing service in the perfect location in paradise.

This home couldn't have been more perfect! Oahu was a destination wedding for my son. I had some of my family and friends stay at this house. It accommodated us all easily. I can say that we didn't want to leave.

We loooved our stay at Walker’s Lanakai Beach House. The home is tastefully decorated and well stocked. The property manager was attentive and responsive. The location was incredible.

Walker's Beach House was incredible. The photos are real, the beach is really right there! So often the real property doesn't live up to the hype, not in this case.

The set up of the house is conducive to a multifamily vacation. We visited for my father's 70th birthday in September 2017 and would return again in a heartbeat.

The main room really takes your breath away. So hawaii! The main house has three good bedrooms and decent bathrooms. The kitchen is separate from the main living area which is rare these days but a blessing having meal prep away from the main relaxation area. The sofa and super comfy for afternoon naps and the kids loved loved loved the outdoor tap and beach toys.

The boat house is a perfect little get away with beautiful afternoon light streaming through the plantation shutters.

The cottage is a little hideaway and makes for a great escape if you have multiple guests.

The beds, the linen, the towels and toiletries were luscious and the property concierge prompt and easy to deal with. We were fortunate to receive a bread pudding on our first day, such a treat!

Overall Walker's really hit the nail on the head. Its old school vacation how it should be.

Incredible experience at the Walker House. The family really enjoyed the house. Location was convenient and still felt secluded even though the heavier beach traffic was close by. It met my expectations. Have nothing against modern accommodations, but when in Hawaii, love the more traditional historic feeling.

A lovely home and incredible location. One member of our family remarked "I've never been in a house with an infinity living room!" Having three separate living quarters was perfect. We could accommodate my son and his wife and 2-year-old in the unit behind the garage, my pregnant daughter and her husband in the unit above the garage, and the 60-something partiers in the main house! Private Homes Hawaii was great to work with. We would definitely rent this home again.
